    VSE Career Centre

    .

The Vancouver School of Economics (VSE) Career Centre supports Bachelor of International Economics (BIE) students with their professional and personal development while simultaneously providing the opportunity to network and connect as a means to build the foundation for a fulfilling career beyond their degree.

Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)

The VSE Career Centre condemns violence, discrimination, or oppression of any kind against age, mental and physical disabilities, race, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, family status, marital status, gender identity, religion, citizenship, place of origin or other forms of discrimination in today’s world. The VSE Career Centre supports an open and safe environment to have difficult conversations that are necessary to thoroughly assess and respond to EDI issues. Further, the VSE Career Centre aligns with the university-wide vision of adopting intentional EDI practices at the department and unit-specific level to adhere to the recently released Inclusion Action Plan (IAP).

Our Mission

Our mission is to support Bachelor of International Economics (BIE) students and first year BIE alumni, utilizing a coach approach to empower them with the professional and personal development skills, critical thinking, and resources to facilitate connections between students, alumni, and key stakeholders in order to elevate their opportunities throughout their academic and professional lives.
